How to cook
1, How to make the batter to wrap around the ingredients.
In a bowl, mix 100 g tempura flour and 160 ml water. About 40 times with a whisk. It does not matter if a few lumps remain.
2, About frying temperature.
Put oil in a pan and heat. The temperature of the oil should be 170 to 180 degrees Celsius.
There is a good way to check this.
Drop a few drops of the tempura batter you just made into the oil. The right temperature is when it sinks to the middle and floats right away.
3, How to deep fry tempura.
Drain the ingredients of your choice, dip them in the tempura batter you just made, and deep fry them.
*If you add too much at once, the temperature of the oil will drop. If you do so, the tempura will not be crispy. Therefore, add a little at a time.
When cooking with less oil, please be careful to adjust the heat level, as the oil temperature can easily change.
