There are various types of “Somen”, but the most common one is.
“Somen” made from carefully selected wheat and Akaho salt using the traditional hand-rolled method that has been passed down for about 600 years.
Somen is like making udon very thin.
The texture is so nice that you can eat each bite smoothly.
When it’s hot, chill it with ice water and eat it. It may also be eaten in warm soup during cold weather.

How to make

Boil water in a pot.
When the water boils, add somen noodles.
Each bundle is divided, and one bundle is about one serving.

Add somen and boil until soft. Estimated time is 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
It is recommended that it is a little hard. Turn off the heat when it reaches the desired hardness.

After boiling the noodles, put them in colander, drain the water, and quickly cool them with cold water.
When it cools down, put it in a bowl and it’s done.
Dip into Noodle soup and eat.

Note

Avoid direct sunlight, high temperature and humidity, and do not store with strong odors.
After opening, store in a sealed container as a bag to prevent moisture and insect damage, and consume as soon as possible.
