Way to turn leftover nori from cooking into tasty furikake!

Ingredients

  • Grilled Seaweed 4 sheets
  • Sesame oil 3 tablespoons
  • Rayu (Chinese red chili oil) 1 tbsp.
  • Gochujang (red pepper paste) 1 teaspoon
  • Mixed nuts 30g
  • 1 tsp white sesame seeds 1 tsp.
  • salt 1/2 tsp.

Method

STEP 1

Add sesame oil, raayu, and gochujang to the pan.

STEP 2

Add the seaweed while tearing it into pieces and fry for 5 minutes over medium heat so that it becomes crispy.

STEP 3

Add mixed nuts and white sesame seeds, mix further, and remove from heat.

STEP 4

Add salt and sugar and stir to combine.

STEP 5

Serve over rice.

*If you do not like spicy food, try omitting the raayu and gochujang and making it with sesame oil only.
