No Oil Needed! Karaage is ready in just 10 minutes Recipe

Deep frying is usually done by pouring oil into a deep frying pan and deep frying in it.
This method is fine at restaurants, but it is a bit difficult to make it at home, because the excess oil is wasteful and difficult to dispose of.
The leftover oil is a waste, and it is also difficult to dispose of.

Therefore, Eats Japan introduces fried chicken Karaage made with a small amount of oil.

But what surpasses its ease of use is microwave Karaage Fried Flour.
All you need is this Microwave Karaage Fried Flour 80g and some chicken!
That’s all you need to make fried chicken! Fearfully easy!

Prepare chicken

First of all, chicken! In Japan, some chicken is cut for deep frying, but you can also prepare it by cutting chunks into bite-size pieces!

Coat the chicken with fried flour.

Once the cut chicken is placed in the plastic bag, dust it with the flour.
Shake the bag about 30 times while allowing enough air to get into the bag to dust the whole thing with the flour.*Do not rub in

The amount of fried flour and heating time is as follows.
In this case, there are 6 pieces, so heat at 600w for about 4 minutes.

3 pcs 1 tbsp 2 minutes
4 pcs 2 tbsp 3 minutes
6 pcs 3 tbsp 4 minutes
8 pcs 4 tbsp 5.5 minutes

Heat in microwave

Now all you need to do is heat it up in the microwave! Please refer to the previous table for the approximate heating time.
In this case, I heated 6 pieces of chicken for 4 minutes at 600W.
*If redness remains in the meat, heat it further in 30-second increments.

After 4 minutes, the Karaage is ready.

In no time at all, the Karaage is ready.
With regular deep frying, you have to deal with the oil, wash frying pans and pots, and clean up oil splatter on the stove, but this way of cooking makes cleanup a breeze!

Serve on vegetables to complete the dish.

Put it on a plate and your fried chicken is ready!
If I didn’t tell you it was made in the microwave, you wouldn’t even know!

Can be made from 1 piece

When deep frying in oil, oil is wasted unless you have a certain number of pieces.
But if you use this karaage powder, you can make it from just one.
So you can make a small amount and enjoy it as a snack with beer!

Another characteristic of this Karaage is that it tastes great even when cold.
Therefore, you can take it out of the refrigerator and reheat it for a very tasty meal.
Or you can even pack it in your lunch box!
