Arranged with furikake. Avocado and salmon donburi cuisine.

Today I would like to introduce a recipe using Japanese “Furikake”. Furikake is one of the Japanese seasonings that is used to put on white rice.
I will talk about furikake in another article.
By the way, can you get salmon in your country?
Here is a recipe for a bowl of rice topped with salmon, avocado, egg and furikake!

Ingredients

Method

Pre-cooking

First, mix soy sauce and wasabi. This will be poured on at the end! The mixture of wasabi and soy sauce is called “Wasabi-Jouyu”.
Slice the salmon and avocado.

STEP 1

First, make the poached eggs. You can substitute a fried egg for the poached egg.
Boil water to just before boiling and stir in a small amount of vinegar. Crack the eggs into a small bowl, stir in the hot water with chopsticks, and drop the eggs into the center of the bowl. 30 to 45 seconds later, cover the bowl and remove from heat. Let sit until the egg whites set, then scoop out the egg whites with a ladle with holes.

STEP 2

Place a bowl of rice on top of the sliced avocado and salmon sashimi.

STEP 3

Top with the poached egg you just made. Pour the wasabi soy sauce that you prepared in advance over the whole dish. Sprinkle furikake over the top, and it’s ready to serve!

*The rice can also be served with sushi rice.
