Dashi is the foundation of Japanese cuisine! That is why it is always found in Japanese refrigerators. Here is how to make yakisoba noodles seasoned with that dashi.

  • 2 balls of yakisoba noodles
  • 6 sausage
  • 50 g bean sprouts
  • 50 g cabbage
  • 1/4 carrot
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1/4 bag shimeji mushrooms
  • white soup stock 3 tbsp
  • a pinch of pepper a pinch
  • Salad oil 1 tbsp

Method

STEP 1

Cut sausage into 5mm diagonal slices and cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Cut carrots into strips, green pepper into thin strips, and shimeji mushrooms into small bunches.

STEP 2

Heat oil in a frying pan and saute sausage, cabbage, carrot, green pepper, shimeji mushrooms and bean sprouts in over low heat.

STEP 3

After adding the noodles, add an appropriate amount of water and break up the noodles well.

STEP 4

Add the noodles and stir-fry, then add the white dashi broth and season to taste. Sprinkle with pepper to taste.

STEP 5

Add dashi (Japanese soup stock) and season with pepper.
