Easy 10 minutes! Grilled Broccoli with Cheese and Okaka Bonito flake.

Grilling broccoli makes it sweeter and tastier. A simple side dish made with only one frying pan and one main ingredient: broccoli!
As the broccoli browns, it becomes sweeter and tastier in STEP 3, instead of frying the broccoli, turn it upside down.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 broccoli
  • cheese powder 1 tbsp
  • dried bonito flakes 2.5g
  • 2 tablespoons water 2 tbsp
  • salt pinch of salt
  • olive oil 1 tbsp

Method

STEP 1

Separate broccoli into small clusters. Peel the tough skin from the stem part and cut into strips.

STEP 2

Place water, salt, and broccoli in a frying pan, cover, and place over medium heat.
When steam rises, cook for 2 minutes.

STEP 3

Remove lid, pat dry, add olive oil and broil until broccoli is browned.

STEP 4

Place in a serving bowl and sprinkle with cheese powder and bonito flakes.
