Easy at home! How to cook classic Zaru Soba and recipe

How to make

1. Boil water in a pot, add soba noodles and boil for a few minutes.About 2 to 2.5 minutes is a good amount of time.

2. Cool under running water and drain.

3. Put the mentsuyu (noodle soup) in a container and dilute it with water.

4. Drain off the boiled water from the buckwheat noodles and cool in cold water. Serve in a bowl and it is ready to eat.

5. Add finely chopped green onions, wasabi or ginger to taste.Also, it is delicious with chopped nori (seaweed) on top.

Cooking Tips

If soba noodles are overcooked, the texture becomes too soft and tasteless. About 2 to 2.5 minutes is a good amount of time. Or, boil the noodles while checking their hardness.
