How to make Okonomiyaki

Okonomiyaki is a very casual food in Japan.
It's really fun to get together and make and eat together.
Even if it loses its shape and doesn't work, add okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise at the end to complete it!

DIRECTIONS

The cabbage required for two people to make okonomiyaki is 1/2.
Finely chop the cabbage. It doesn't have to be overly detailed.
Cut roughly.

Put 160cc of water in a cooking bowl.

After stirring, mix the okonomiyaki powder.
Do not stir well. Leave some lumps behind.

It is already included in okonomiyaki flour.

After mixing, add the chopped cabbage. And
Add the included "Tenkasu" and 2 eggs.

I think it's difficult to mix a lot, but stir with a spoon from below.
Be careful not to stir too much. Stop when the whole is mixed.
(If you mix too much, water will come out from the cabbage and the juice will increase.)

When the frying pan is warm, spread the oil and pour it into the frying pan.
Don't put too much in it. It will be too big to turn over.

Put the pork on it. If you don't have pork, you can use ham. (I put ham on it.)
Do not add cheese etc. at this point as it will be turned over later.

After putting the ingredients on, put the lid on and wait for a while.
Set to low to medium heat so that the back side does not burn.

Open the lid and turn the okonomiyaki over.
The trick is to take the plunge!
Don't be afraid to take the plunge and turn it over.
If you turn it over, close the lid again and wait for a while.

Turn it over again with the meat and ham side up.
Then sprinkle a generous amount of okonomiyaki sauce.
Apply plenty of sauce to make a delicious okonomiyaki.

After sprinkling the sauce, sprinkle Bonito powder.

Next, apply green laver. Sprinkle it on your hand so that it hangs on the whole.

Sprinkle with mayonnaise. The okonomiyaki sauce and plenty of mayonnaise will make the okonomiyaki even more delicious.
Mayonnaise can be applied as you like, but Japanese okonomiyaki is often applied in a grid pattern.

Sprinkle with bonito flakes and it's done.
Bonito flakes sway with hot steam.
